I am delighted to welcome you to our school website. We are a brand-new Church of England primary school, currently based in a light and spacious temporary building in the grounds of Wellsway School whilst we await the completion of our new building. This is scheduled for 2022.
We have welcomed our first class of reception children who are enjoying the exciting, new classroom and great resources. Our children are happy, confident and thriving and our community is supportive. I am committed to ensuring that children receive an education that promotes curiosity and a love of learning through a nurturing and supportive environment.
The Department for Education gave the go-ahead in 2017 to open a 420-place primary school to meet the needs of Keynsham's growing population. We are starting small but should reach our full capacity in 2027.

We currently have one Reception class. This is taught by Mrs Carver and Mrs Trembeth. We also have one full time teaching assistant and one part time to support learning in the classroom.
Our current Reception class have chosen to be called Butterfly class and when we have two Reception classes, the partner class will be called Ladybird class. The current children are going to think about the other class names ready for when the school grows - a real honour!
The Two Rivers CofE Primary School will be built in the Crest Nicholson's Hygge development which is adjacent to Wellsway School which is part of the Wellsway Multi Academy Trust's family of schools. Until our brand new building is ready we're in temporary accomodation which is situated in the grounds of Wellsway School opposite and opposite the Chandag Schools.
